During the time after rescue, our horses & ponies require significant rehabilitation in order to heal both physically & emotionally. This often requires substantial financial cost in the form of veterinary care and specialist retraining. Our carefully selected foster carers require support from time to time, and this is where sponsorship plays a vital role. Second Chance has accepted over 100 horses into our rehabilitation program since we began, and over 80 horses have been successfully rehabilitated and rehomed so far. Several of our horses have become successful show horses and some are bringing joy to children with disabilities. Our horses succeed in a variety of disciplines and uses, and all are well cared for and very much loved and treasured by their Adoptive homes.

Second Chance Horse Rescue has worked hard to become a well known organisation. We have regular contact with thousands of people every month, with incredible opportunities for promotion through our work.
