Second Chance Horse Rescue is a small Incorporated, non profit organisation dedicated to the welfare of all equines in Western Australia. We are run entirely by unpaid Volunteers and we are a self funded organisation. We are governed by a constitution and a management committee comprised of dedicated individuals with a variety of skills relevant to our aims.
We also have a range of services in place to assist all horse owners on many levels. If you are in need of help in regards to any equine related issue we are willing to help. Please click on the services link above to find out more about this.

SC's Equine Swapmeet - Sept 18th!
Second Chance's 2010 Equine Swapmeet is coming up! To be held at the SEC carpark on September 18th. Clean out your tackroom and make some extra pocket money
by selling off your unwanted gear, come and snaffle a bargain for yourself, promote your business or event or just come down for a look around

SC At John O'Leary Clinic - October 1st!
Nationally recognised master Horse Trainer John O'Leary has offered to assist Second Chance by including 2 of our horses for a demonstration work session
on October 1st on the first day of his 3 day Horse Trainer's Clinic at Brookleigh Estate. Second Chance will be bringing Destiny and Raphael along for
assessment and some work and are very much looking forward to the day. Second Chance's Chief Field Officer Jessie Barbour will also be participating in
the Trainers Forum on the day.

29th August 2010 - 4 Abandoned Horses Come Into SC's Care

10th August 2010 - SC's Horse Cause Revived!
SC's Kids Club also known as 'Horse Cause' has been revived after new member Lisa Edmonds-Coad has stepped up to run the Club. The Kids Club is for members of Second Chance under the
age of 18 who wish to help our organisation with its work and learn more about horses and ponies! You can find out more about the Kids Club by

1st August 2010 - Funds raised at Quiz Night
Thanks to everyone who attended the SC 2010 Horse's Birthday Quiz Night! We raised just over $1,700 toward our work.
24th July 2010 - Hope to feature in Horse Deals article!
We have been made aware that Second Chance's Hope and her story is to feature in the upcoming September 'Studs and Stallions' special issue of Horse Deals.
